We’re excited to introduce “Overages” – a new billing capability for the Zamzar file conversion API. Overages unlock worry-free file conversions by allowing you to use more credits than your monthly plan limits allow. You only pay for the credits you use.
What are Overages?
Overages give you the freedom to use more credits than your monthly plan allows. Instead of hitting a hard stop when you reach your plan’s limit, you can “burst” over the top and continue converting files without interruption. At the end of the billing cycle, you’ll simply be charged for any extra credits you used – no guesswork, no complex plan upgrades and no hard limits on your file conversions.

- No interruptions – Keep converting files even during busy spikes, without worrying about plan limits.
- Only pay for what you use – Extra credits are billed at the same rate as your plan at the end of the cycle.
