We’ve been listening to your feedback … thanks to everyone who has been writing in with requests for new conversion types – we’re working on implementing them as fast as we can.
Today we’re pleased to announce support for conversions of the increasingly popular music format FLAC (free lossless audio codec). As of today Zamzar supports conversion from FLAC to the following formats:
- aac – Advanced Audio Coding File
- ac3 – AC3 Audio File
- au – AU Audio File
- mp3 – Compressed audio file
- m4a – Compressed video file
- ogg – Ogg Vorbis Compressed Audio File
- wav – Windows audio file
Didn’t seem to be able to find a contact details that wasn’t support or abuse emails on the site (you really should have a general one :)).
Just wanted to say how much of a life saver you guys are, I found it a week or so ago, never used your service but thought, hey one day it might be useful.
Today I got to uni and they wanted a word count of my assignment which was in pdf, so a quick conversion to ms word with zamzar and I had it. Keep up the good work, you saved me today!
Mark – We’re glad that you found the service useful, it’s good to hear that we were able to help you out 🙂 All the best with your studies !
